Comments:
Rick Roy
was one of the 8 original founders of the present "Illinois
Country Music Association". Rick has served as Treasurer,
Vice-president, President! Rick was raised with music
in life from birth. His Mother played Piano/Organ at his church.
Rick's father was in gospel Quartet at church for many years,
his folks had him in the Piano room at the Age of 2,
trying to plunk out a tune. Rick states that "God gave
me a talent to play by ear and I do treasure that gift!"
