Route 54 Band

Since 1998 through 2001 members of the Illinois country Music Association honored " The Route 54 Band" by voting them " Opry/Stage/Show Band of the Year". ALSO THEY VOTED "The McLean County Opry Show's" Opening night as "Country Music Event of the Year"in 1998, and numerous other awards have honored individual band members since 1991. We "Thank You" our fans for standing with us! Your loyalty& friendship are very valued assets to us.

:The Route 54 Band" members as a group have a total of over 200 years of stage performance time. They will bring you Top 40 country music, as well as older Country Bluegrass, Western Swing, and Gospel. The musical variety and comedy on their show has been pleasing Opry audiences for OVER 23 YEARS

Rick Roy
 

Rick Roy, the Lead & Tenor, plays Piano and Keyboard. Rick grew up in Mahomet, Illinois and now, currently, lives in Deland, Illinois. He first started in a Pops Concert for his local High school, then immediately joined the Country Kids that following spring. Overall he has an astonishing 35 years in the music business.

Janice Lynn Nevius Lead & Harmony also plays Piano and Guitar. Janice grew up in McLean, Illinois, and is currently still living there. Janice has 12 years into the business, and has been singing and writing since the age of 4.

Tom Parton some Lead & Harmony also plays Bass, Rhythm, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar. Tom grew up in Decatur, Illinois, and is currently living in Normal, Illinois. Tom has 35 years into the business.
